We’re all getting used to this new football. No fans in the stadium, matches every second day, press conferences on laptops.
The players have a lot to remember too, with social distancing in full force.
There’s also the “taking a knee” tribute before games. Sadio Mane forgot all about it for Liverpool not long ago, and Cesar Azpilicueta just did the same for Chelsea. He was busy doing high intensity warm up sprints when everyone else dropped to one knee – and he looked like a madman racing up and down the touchline.
