Tottenham reportedly confident they can seal laughable £25 million deal to sign Chelsea defender

Chelsea are known as tough negotiators, with Director Marina Granovskaia always driving a hard bargain.

This is why I couldn’t help but laugh when I saw the fee being quoted in the latest rumour.

Yes, the links are predictable because Tottenham boss has managed Kurt Zouma before and we know he has always rated him highly.

But £25 million for Zouma, there is no way that Granovskaia would sell the France international for such a low fee when he still has three years left on his contract. You’d have to almost double that to even get a discussion I believe.

But this is what The Daily Express are reporting. Spurs are confident of signing Zouma for just £25 million this summer.

Zouma may well ask to leave Chelsea, and I certainly wouldn’t bet against him departing Stamford Bridge. Having said that, he seems to be creeping back in favour with Blues boss Frank Lampard, so there is more than every chance he stays this summer.

But I wouldn’t expect him to go for anything near as low as £25 million regardless.
