Chelsea thinking about signing Monaco youngster touted as ‘new Mbappe’

Chelsea already own a host of super young talents with massive futures, but they will always keep an eye on some of the top young talents around the globe.

One of those players is 15-year old Monaco forward Malamine Efekele.

The attacker is being touted as the ‘new Mbappe’ (as in Kylian from PSG) in a report from Tribal Football today, and he has actually been coached by the France international’s father, Willy Mbappe.

The whizz kid is playing in Monaco’s academy but has already been playing in higher age group sessions.

The highly rated talent is wanted by Chelsea, who are ‘thinking about recruiting’ the youngster, according to French outlet L’Equipe, as translated by Sport Witness.

The paper believes Chelsea are now ‘accelerating their train of thought’ for Efekele due to new incoming Brexit rules.

They say that once the United Kingdom leaves the European Union, future rules could ‘forbid English clubs from recruiting foreign minors after January 1st 2021’.
