Chelsea planning £160m six player clear-out to fund Chilwell and Havertz transfers

Chelsea are working on deals to sign Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havetrz, and Leicester City left back Ben Chilwell this summer.

This is according to a report from The Sun, who claim that Chelsea are planning to sell 6 players and raise £160 million to fund the two deals.

As per the same report, Chelsea have already agreed a £54 million deal to sign RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner this summer, and want Havertz and Chilwell to join the mini rebuild.

But in order to complete this, there will need to be a clear-out of players. Six players in fact.

Tiemoue Bakayoko, Emerson Palmieri, Davide Zappacosta, Danny Drinkwater, Michy Batshuayi and Victor Moses are all set for the Stamford Bridge exit door in some business that will bring in £160m to add to the transfer funds.

The issue here of course, could be finding the suitors who wish to pay the required fee that Chelsea will want for their outcasts.
