Chelsea have been strongly linked to signing a number of players over recent months, but one in particular has gone under the radar quite a bit and is now becoming a talked about figure.
Chelsea were reported to be interested in signing West Ham midfielder Declan Rice by The Guardian and a number of other sources back in April.
Rice has had two very good games for West Ham since returning from lock down, and one of those performances was at centre back.
This is the position where he started his career playing, ironically in the Chelsea youth academy.
Now, after some fine form, these Chelsea fans below believe that Rice could be the one to come in and solve their defensive woes and play centre back for them.
With Chelsea’s interest, and a chance that West Ham face relegation this season, they believe The Blues should capitalise on this situation.
Despite opinions his technical ability, Declan Rice (21) has been largely brilliant for West Ham this season.
