We should have known something special was coming on the opening day of the 2009-2010 season. Didier Drogba scored twice, including a late winner, as Chelsea came from behind to beat Hull City, and a record breaking season was underway.
Drogba went on to win the Golden Boot that season as Chelsea rattled in over 100 goals in the league, and the club’s official Youtube channel collected all 29 of them into one video for you to enjoy.
What a season that was – the Blues were unstoppable, and Drogba was unplayable. Even the kit was brilliant.
