A couple of weeks ago we reported on a story of a Barcelona players agent pushing for him to get a move to Chelsea.
The agent of centre back Xavier Mbuyamba was publicly commenting on the fact that his client may not be best placed at Barcelona, and he was full of praise for Chelsea.
The 18-year old defender is often compared to Liverpool and Holland centre back Virgil van Dijk, and he is set for a big future in the game.
He spent time at Chelsea last summer on trail but the London club were unable to sign him due to being transfer banned.
They now might be about to make a move to sign him again, according to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, as cited by Sport Witness.
They say that Barcelona will release Mbuyamba in June as they have informed him his contract will not be renewed, and they name Chelsea as one of the interested parties.
