Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is likely to be using this time in isolation to look through his player shortlist and contemplate on who he would like the club to pursue when the transfer window does reopen.
Chelsea have been linked with a large number of potential new arrivals, and Lampard has some key areas that he will be looking to improve on this summer.
The main positions touted as being areas he is looking to bring new players in is at full back, centre back, and centre forward.
One player who has been newly linked to the club in terms of rumours, has also been long admired by Chelsea, according to The Athletic.
That is Real Madrid’s full back Achraf Hakimi, who is currently on loan in the Bundesliga with Borussia Dortmund.
The Daily Express say that Chelsea are monitoring the 21-year old Moroccan international. However, they face competition from several other clubs.
