There are plenty of story lines circling around today’s game against Everton, with Kepa restored in goal and Carlo Ancelotti in the other dugout.
But no story is bigger than that of Billy Gilmour, starting his first game in the Premier League at the age of 18. Roy Keane was speaking about him before the game, and how the kid had struck him instantly when he was watching Tuesday night’s FA Cup game against Liverpool:
“He was like a world class player… straight away!” the tough tackling former Man U midfielder said of the instant impression he got from the former Rangers player.
