Without football, we are likely to see more and more random stories to fill time and columns in the press.
This will be entertaining at times, but will also be quite puzzling.
Just like this story from Italian publication Tuttosport (cited by The Express), who claim that Chelsea left back Emerson Palmieri wants to join Juventus in the summer, because he does not like Frank Lampard’s training methods, who they claim he describes as a Sergeant!
Well, from first hand experience, I can confirm that Lampard is anything but a Sergeant, and he is actually a very good man-manager. Yes his training sessions are intense fitness wise and he demands a lot from his players which is surely a good thing? But the only players who would not enjoy his coaching style are players who can be considered as lazy.
