Carlo Ancelotti is one man who will forever hold a special place in the hearts of Chelsea fans and will always be welcomed back to Stamford Bridge with open arms.
He of course returned recently with his Everton side in the Premier League, but the man who bought such great success to Chelsea will always be respected and highly regarded by anyone involved with the club.
So this is why we sit back and take note when such a genius picks out his best ever starting eleven of players who he has managed. And this team would take some beating, ‘dream team’ would be an understatement!
Ancelotti has chosen three former Chelsea players, with John Terry as centre back, Frank Lampard in centre midfield, and Andriy Shevchenko, who is perhaps the surprise addition, especially when you consider that Ancelotti has also managed Cristiano Ronaldo!
It once again though emphasises just how good Terry and Lampard were as players, nothing short of world class.
