(Video): Lampard condemns “false nonsense” about Kepa

Frank Lampard has just had his press conference ahead of the game against Bournemouth tomorrow, and as you’d expect he was asked about the ongoing tricky situation with his goalkeeper.

Lampard denied that he’d fallen out with Kepa, and insisted that the stories doing the rounds this week about the Spaniard wanting to leave were rubbish.

“I’ve read quite a bit of false nonsense” the Blues boss said indignantly about the rumours, as he insisted that players are individually “in control of their destiny” – i.e., if Kepa wants to play, he has to play well when given the chance.
