There was a decent amount of injury news to get through today for Frank Lampard, and the Chelsea boss was forced into detail on a number of different cases.
One he touched on at the end was Tammy Abraham, who has twice tried to make a comeback from his injury issues and failed, effectively.
When asked about his specific timeframe, Lamps was very straightforward. “I don’t know,” he repeated twice, saying that doctors were still trying to work out how long the striker would miss.
It sounds like they’re going to be a lot more cautious this time, and Olivier Giroud could get a decent run in the team now.
