Hakim Ziyech has been bought by Chelsea for his technical ability and his creativity.
But that doesn’t mean that’s all that will be expected of him, or that they are the only things the club were looking for when they decided to spend €45m. Pressing high up the pitch is an important part of Frank Lampard’s philosophy, and Ziyech will be expected to provide that for his team as much as anything in the final third.
