As you will be well aware of by now, Chelsea have announced that they have reached an agreement with Ajax to sign their attacking midfielder Hakim Ziyech in the summer, subject to personal terms.
We have some Hakim Ziyech news… 👀

The deal happened very fast and was very much kept under the wraps, despite Chelsea first approaching Ajax for him during the winter transfer window.
However, Ajax did not want to sell one of their star players mid-season, and instead Chelsea agreed to negotiate a deal for the summer.
This type of good relations during transfer negotiations could play to Chelsea’s strengths should they wish to pursue Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana, which has been reported recently.
There have been doubts over the Chelsea future of Kepa Arrizabalaga, and Onana is deemed as a good fit to replace him.
If Chelsea do decide to make an offer, you would think that the smoothness and understanding of the Ziyech deal will certainly help their cause in negotiations.
