Chelsea’s alleged second agreed deal for the summer seems unlikely

Last week it was confirmed by Chelsea that they had to agreed a deal to sign Ajax winger Hakim Ziyech in the summer.

This was confirmed by both clubs and was reported by all the reliable sources in football media.

This is why a second claimed done deal for the summer, is highly unlikely.

Only The Daily Express are reporting that Chelsea have agreed to sign Inter midfielder Matias Vecino this summer for £23 million.

Despite Vecino being linked with Chelsea before, The Blues are stacked in the midfield positions and unless there are plans to sell a few of them, I can’t see any arrivals there, especially not a midfielder who will be 29-years old in the summer.

Chelsea will likely have other areas on the pitch that they will be prioritising their budget in, including a new left back, centre back, winger and a striker.

So I am pretty sure this one can be chalked off as just another rumour.
