There have been a large number of names spouted whilst linking Chelsea to signing a new goalkeeper this summer, and Frank Lampard continues to pick veteran backup goalkeeper Willy Caballero ahead of Kepa Arrizabalaga.
One name that keeps popping up as a potential target is Ajax stopper Andre Onana.
The Cameroon international is continuously mentioned with a move to Chelsea and it seems like there could be some genuine traction to this rumour.
Spanish outlet SPORT have ran a report today suggesting that Barcelona are also interested in signing the 23-year old keeper, but they also note that Chelsea are the ‘main favourite’ to sign Onana.
It is clear that Lampard is happy with the form of Kepa this season, and there will certainly be some decisions to be made come the summer. But as the clubs record signing, it is something that is going to need to be worked out either way.
