After an a quiet week, Frank Lampard is back in the press conference hot seat being grilled about January progress since last weekend.
There wasn’t much to say but when asked about Olivier Giroud’s potential departure, Lampard insisted that it “wasn’t agreed”, and while admitting it was a possibility, made sure to indicate it wasn’t a given.
We can see why. It’s important to keep your cards close to your chest, especially considering we’re probably mid-negotiations for players to potentially replace him.
