Frank Lampard took his side’s standard post-match press conference today, and for once after a home game he had a smile on his face and positive things to talk about.
One thing they often have failed to do is take the lead, and having done that today they never looked back.
“It’s been a big factor,” the coach said, speaking about his side’s struggles to score goals in the first half. He pointed out it creates nerves which then leads to us conceding later in the game too.
