The reported agreed fee that Chelsea will get for Olivier Giroud this weekend

It looks like Olivier Giroud will finally be completing his move to Serie A side Inter this weekend.

This is according to Sky Italy, who have confirmed that a fee has been agreed between the two clubs, and they expect Giroud to be an Inter player by the end of the weekend.

The fee they report is 4.5 million euros plus bonuses, and Giroud has already agreed a 2.5 year contract in Italy.

Giroud will be rejoining Antonio Conte, the man who bought him to Chelsea back in 2018. It seems like a good move for all involved, with Conte clearly an admirer of the France World Cup winning striker.

Giroud found himself as third choice striker behind both Michy Batshuayi and Tammy Abraham for Frank Lampard’s Chelsea this season, but he has always remained respectful and professional.

He will be respected and wished well by the Chelsea faithful when the deal is finally closed.
