There is never a dull moment during the January transfer window, and last night delivered possibly the oddest moment so far in the 2020 window.
Sky Sports have reported that Chelsea have made an offer to sign Benfica midfielder Gedson Fernandes on an 18-month loan with an obligation to buy deal.
West Ham have also made an offer for Fernandes, and it will be up to the player on what he decides to do.

Law believes that Chelsea have not even made an offer for Fernandes, as it stands. Law told a fan on Twitter that he has been told that Chelsea have not made an offer for Fernandes, and that their priority is on signing forwards and possibly a defender.
