Chelsea looking at left back and hope to tie up second signing of the month

Chelsea completed their first signing of the January transfer window yesterday in the shape of 16-year old Norwegian forward Bryan Fiabema from Tromso.

The youngster will join up with the Chelsea under-18 squad, as confirmed by Norwegian publication VG.

They also confirm that another Norwegian talent Josef Baccay is expected to join Fiabema this month in making his move to Chelsea.

The 18-year old Lillestrom left back is likely to have a trial at Chelsea with a move to sign him permanently if successful.

Baccay is represented by the same company as Fiabema, so the links are already there with Chelsea.

It is likely that Baccay will also join the Chelsea youth setup before being looked at by the first team coaches Frank Lampard and Jody Morris.

Chelsea fans will be hoping that a couple of senior players will also be arriving this window to help bolster the first team squad.
