Chelsea have drawn Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup third round.
The Blues have played the Tricky Trees in the cup as recently as two seasons ago, as well as in the Carabao Cup last year. We’re well versed in their strengths and weaknesses, and this should be a good chance to play some younger players.
With the Champions League coming down to the final game, and Frank Lampard’s men already out of this year’s Carabao Cup after a loss to Manchester United, this Forest game may represent the last chance for youngsters like Billy Gilmour and Marc Guehi to get starts this season.

The glamour tie in all this is a Merseyside Derby between Liverpool and Everton. All the games will take place over the weekend of the 4th of January, as is traditional.
