Inter Sporting Director in London for transfer talks

January is fast approaching and Chelsea will have a few players who’s futures will need to be worked out either way.

With contracts running out in the summer, The Blues will need to make some decisions on whether they look to bring in a bit of cash for those players, or let their contracts run down and lose them on a free at the end of the season.

One of those players is French World Cup winner Olivier Giroud. The veteran striker is likely to leave in January in pursuit of more regular football due to becoming third choice for Frank Lampard behind Michy Batshuayi and Tammy Abraham.

Inter are one of the sides that are keen on giving him an opportunity, and their Sporting Director Piero Ausilio was in London on Friday to discuss details of a January transfer with Chelsea, according to reliable Journalist Nicolo Shira.

It would be a good deal for all parties.
