Chelsea workhorse full of praise for club legend

It takes a lot of hard work, commitment, and a real love of the club to become a legend at Chelsea. It is a word that gets thrown around a lot, but to become a true meaning of the word – it takes a lot.

John Terry is Chelsea’s finest example of a club legend, along with the likes of Didier Drogba, and our current Manager Frank Lampard.

These guys literally bleed blue and would put their lives on the line for this club.

These are the type of people who will always be welcome back at the club in any aspect, especially to work, coach, and be part of the large Chelsea family once again.

You just know that Terry will be back here one day very soon in some kind of capacity, after he learns his coaching trade over at Aston Villa.

Current Chelsea player N’Golo Kante might be in for a shout as legendary status someday, depending on the future. But he has been full of praise for our former captain of the club in a recent interview, as reported by The Evening Standard.

He was asked which player he would sign for Chelsea if he was the manager and could pick past, present or future.

He said:

“I’d probably say John Terry because when I came to Chelsea, he was the figure of the club and knows what it means to be here.

“I knew all about him from a young age and he helped the club very well.”
