Mount rested, Hudson-Odoi to start – Predicted Chelsea Xl vs Southampton

Chelsea make the short trip to Southampton tomorrow afternoon as part of Sky Sports Super Sunday fixtures.

The Blues kick off at 2pm and will be looking to go away with all three points, despite St Mary’s being a tough place to go to.

There are no easy games in the Premier League and I expect a strong starting line up from Frank Lampard once again.

N’Golo Kante will be checked today and tomorrow to make sure he is still good to play, and Lampard might chose to rest Mason Mount, who looked a little over worked in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Hudson-Odoi is likely to have finally earned his first start since returning from injury, and will probably be linking up with Tammy Abraham up front again.

We could see Mount from the bench if things aren’t going their way and hopefully some game time for Christian Pulisic.

Predicted Chelsea Xl (4-3-3) –

Kepa, Azpilicueta, Christensen, Tomori, Alonso. Jorginho, Kovacic, Kante. Hudson-Odoi, Willian, Abraham.
