Two Chelsea youngsters earn deserved international debuts

Chelsea defenders Trevoh Chalobah and Marc Guehi played for England under-21s last night earning their debut appearances at that level, as reported by The Chelsea website.

Chalobah, who is on loan at Huddersfield Town, played the whole game in centre midfield, a position he is growing ever more used to.

Whilst Guehi also played 90 minutes at centre back.

Both players put in a good shift and contributed to their side beating Turkey 3-2 in their own back yard.

It’s an impressive step up for the academy graduates, but especially Guehi who is still only 19 years old.

Chalobah has been a regular for Huddersfield Town in the Championship so far this season and Guehi is the captain of the Chelsea under-23 team.

Both players are highly regarded at the club and are both very eager to make it at a place where they have been at since a very young age at academy level.
