Chelsea ‘could sign’ AC Milan striker says publication

Chelsea will soon be able to sign players again after an imposed transfer ban on them by FIFA.

As it stands, The Blues will be able to sign players again next summer but according to some reports, including this one from The Sun, it could be as soon as January if their appeal has a positive result.

One player whom the publication believes that Chelsea could have a chance of signing, is AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piątek.

Chelsea are likely to be on the hunt for a striker with Olivier Giroud seeing out the end of his contract, and Michy Batshuayi unlikely to be happy with being a backup choice.

Piątek though, could be seen as a very difficult pursuit seeing as he’s only recently joined Milan and is contracted their until 2023.

However, in football anything can happen and the 24-year old Polish international is certainly a player who will be monitored by a number of clubs.
