There have yet to be any official announcements from Frank Lampard regarding who will be his captain and vice-captain moving forward this season.
One would assume that Cesar Azpilicueta will be continuing as club captain, having worn the armband throughout pre-season, and early doors so far in the Premier League.
But it appears that the vice-captain role is up for grabs.
David Luiz would have been the one to step in and wear the band in the absence of Azpilicueta, but he has of course left the club to join Arsenal.
So who will it be?

This certainly does make sense, and I believe that Jorginho would be a great option. He’s very vocal on the pitch, he organises the whole team, and he is one of our best players.
With Reece James threatening Azpilicueta’s position in the starting line up, Chelsea’s vice-captain could end up more often than not being the main captain this season.
