The clubs’ have drawn up a six point plan and sent it to UEFA.
There has been many issues of ticket allocation not going to the actual clubs involved in the Final, and the Trusts’ have asked that in future 80% of tickets should be made available to the two partaking clubs.
They have asked that only stadiums of a large capacity should be considered to host the finals, at least 60,000 for the Europa League, and 75,000 for the Champions League.
They have requested that ticket prices become affordable and fair.
They have also picked on up general stadium accessibility and disabled features, and for the host country to promote equality, and abide by human-rights.
And finally, they want the host city to have a good infrastructure, meaning good transport links, easy to access, somewhere that cheap flights are available to get to, and that offers good accommodation options.
Let’s hope this does not fall on deaf ears, because this is needed badly.
