Chelsea partook in an open training session at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday morning, and their was some noticeable absentees.
As reported here by Goal journalist Nizaar Kinsella, the workhorse duo of N’Golo Kante and Pedro were nowhere to be seen.
Let’s hope it might be just extra rest, with Kante in particular only recently coming back from injury.
No Kante or Pedro at open training. I wonder if they are working alone after a very tough week physically last time out. #CFC

Interestingly though, Nizaar reported that Tiemoue Bakayoko was involved in training, despite his entourage working on a move away from Stamford Bridge for him.
Callum Hudson-Odoi took part in training and looked very sharp, after his second full session after his long term injury.
Callum!! 👀
Pulisic took a small knock and went in apparently. No Kante 🤔 pic.twitter.com/CKLpzZkKOp

Christian Pulisic picked up a small knock and briefly went back inside. He looked fine though after coming back out and rejoining the session.
Frank Lampard and Petr Cech addressed the fans briefly, before taking part in the session.
There was also a hint at a potential starting line up for Saturday’s match, although it does not always pan out to be the case of the bib wearers.
Bibs line up (doesn’t always mean anything) –
Kepa, Azpi, Christensen, Zouma, Alonso, Jorginho, Kovacic, Mount, Willian, Abraham, Pulisic.

Chelsea face Norwich City on Saturday, and the Premiership new boys will be hoping to carry on their winning ways after defeating Newcastle 3-1 in their last match.
