Hudson-Odoi is currently surrounded by speculation regarding the youngster signing a new contract at Chelsea, and has agreed to sign a new 5-year deal worth £100k-a-week, according to The BBC.

Now he has returned to the UK, he will hopefully be able to confirm the details and sign on the dotted line, ending months of speculation about his own future at the club.

Having been initially unhappy with his game time last season, Hudson-Odoi handed in a transfer request at the club in January, amidst interest from Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.

However, it is now believed that after talks with new head coach Frank Lampard, and assurances on game time, the England international has agreed a new long term contract to stay at Stamford Bridge.
