Maurizio Sarri was sent off for persistently leaving his penalty area as Chelsea desperately looked for a winner against Burnley.
Their opposition had been religiously wasting time for 80 minutes, and increasing the regularity of their mystery injuries as the second half went on.
Players began fighting over the endless time wasting, then Sarri seemed to be in trouble for heading down the touchline towards the incident.

This was all taking place in added time as it was, further reducing Chelsea’s chances of turning this into three points.
Sarri went to the bench and had to collect his bits and bobs, with the whole stadium watching. Once again, scenes on the sidelines were an embarrassment.
It all got a bit heated towards the end with Maurizio Sarri sent to the stands…

It’s the bad results that are leading to these pathetic scenes. We should be brushing Burnley off with ease, not getting into arguments with them on the sideline. This was a bitter blow for Sarri.
