Man United could be without these five first-team players vs. Chelsea this afternoon

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer does not have a fully fit squad available for today’s clash between Chelsea and Manchester United, which could prove pivotal to both teams’ seasons.

It’s difficult to remember a time where United had a full fit squad. both Solskjaer and predecessor Jose Mourinho have been pegged back by injuries to key players.

There’ll be no respite for the United boss today, with up to five members of United’s first-team squad at risk of missing today’s clash with Chelsea.

This information comes from Physio Room, who list Phil Jones, Scott McTominay, Ander Herrera and Eric Bailly as doubts, while Antonio Valencia has no chance of featuring.

That makes life difficult for Solskjaer, who will have to construct a makeshift defence and midfield out of the unpreferable players he has available to him.

We wouldn’t be surprised to see him field a back five like he did in the Manchester derby on Wednesday. If he does, it could prove to be a tough day for our attack.
