Not many times have freshly crowned World Champions been held to a draw by an average side like Iceland, and after France’s draw with the ‘Strákarnir okkar’, N’Golo Kante wants an immediate return to winning ways.
The Chelsea midfielder is desperate to get back to the form that his country has been in over the last few months, and in the UEFA Nations League match against Germany on Tuesday, Kante is optimistic he and his teammates can make a statement: they are here to stay as World Champions.
