The Premier League returns after a difficult summer for Chelsea, who look to get off to a bright start in the defence of their title against visitors Burnley.
Three of last year’s outstanding players are missing for the Blues, with Victor Moses suspended after his FA Cup final red card, Eden Hazard injured and Diego Costa in Brazil engineering his exit from the club.
Pedro is also missing because of an injury picked up before his red card in the Community Shield.
This means a reshuffle for the Blues, with Alvaro Morata starting on the bench despite an apparent space in the side for him to debut from the start. Jeremie Boga starts for his Chelsea debut out on the left hand side.
