(Video): Agony for Chelsea fans as striker bottles two chances to shoot on goal

Chelsea have made a really strong start to this game at Wembley, and they’ve had the better of the chances in the first half.

But we’ve seen this story so many times before – we dominate, create chances, don’t score, then end up losing.

So far, we’re perfectly on track for that.

It was all summed up nicely by Nicolas Jackson. He was released with a long ball over the top and had time to pick his spot. But he bottled the chance to shoot, and decided to take the ball around Stefan Ortega.

Once he’d done that, he was on his left foot, and once again he bottled the chance to actually shoot at goal. He decided to pass, but underhit it so desperately that he didn’t even find his onrushing teammate.

Someone on Twitter put it very well – Jackson is a very good player, but he’s not a striker.
