Marcelo Bielsa has encouraging words for Chelsea loanee

Chelsea fans only want the best for Izzy Brown.

The youngster joined us with quite a bit of fanfare from West Brom as a kid, but despite a lot of early promise, his time in senior football has seen him unable to really make his mark.

He’s had scattered spells here and there of showing his impressive potential, but all too often injury and poorly chosen loan moves have stunted his chances.

With so little football under his belt for such a long time, it’s no surprise that he’s taking a while to get up to speed.

Marcelo Bielsa, manager of the Leeds team who have Brown on loan, was quoted with the following response when asked about when the winger might get a start:

So clearly we can’t get too excited about seeing him this weekend. But then again, with the Whites’ season slowing down drastically, maybe a little injection of flair is just what Bielssa will be looking forward to?
