Chelsea should already be regretting Piatek fluff

This January saw plenty of striker movement at Chelsea, with Alvaro Morata heading out to Atletico Madrid once the arrival of Gonazalo Higuain was secured.

Higuain had his own complex course to run, with AC Milan allow Juventus to transfer his loan from them to Chelsea once they had secured Krzysztof Piatek from Genoa.

They paid big bucks for the Pole who has spring up as a real menace in Serie A, but last night he scored his seventh goal in five appearances for them, as the Rossoneri took on Empoli.

Chelsea should already be doubting their move for 31 year old Higuain. They had the chance to cut out the middle man and swoop for Piatek, but in the end they went for the safe option in Higuain, a player who Sarri has had success with before.

They bottled it, and we will be wincing for every Piatek goal from now on.
