15 major trophies and the numbers that prove Roman Abromovich may be right to sack Antonio Conte

Chelsea are currently in limbo over the sacking of Antonio Conte with a large compensation being prepared to be paid to the Italian and his backroom staff, if the sack is agreed on.

Some pundits have called for Chelsea’s boss to be kept at post after winning the FA Cup in his last game in charge of the Blues this season but change has been the norm at the club that always proves worthy at the end.

In the 15 years Roman Abramovich has been at the club, Chelsea have sacked 10 managers beginning from Claudio Ranieri and have won for themselves 15 trophies in the process according to Sky Sports.

Their one Champions League, one Europa League, five Premier League titles, five FA Cups and three League Cups, all beginning from when Jose Mourinho ended their 50-year wait for the title since winning it in 1955.

Perhaps, a change in the manager role will signal a new era at the club who were immensely disappointing this season. The years gone by have shown one thing, if anything Roman is always right in changing his managers, regardless of his choices, the trophies keep flying in but the exceptions to the rule are Andre Villas Boas and Luis Felipe Scolari who failed to even complete a full season, after poor starts to life at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues hierarchy can consider those two failures, if they want to replace Conte, a man who has proven once again this season, he is born to win.
