Levi Colwill and Axel Disasi did a double interview for Chelsea TV this weekend where they talked about their season so far.
Both arrived at the club in the summer and have had an up and down season with the rest of their squad.
It was interesting to hear them each answer who the toughest attacker they had faced all season was – without knowing the other one’s answer.
Colwill went for Mo Salah, on the opening day. Colwill was at left back then for perhaps the first time in the Premier League.
“I felt really exposed,” he admitted.
“It was a game to grow from.”
Disasi went for one of the other top Premier League attackers: Son Heung-min.
“He’s strong, he’s quick.”
And that’s not even mentioning his razor sharp finishing off both feet, perhaps the best in the league now his old friend Harry Kane is out of the picture.
They both sound like they’ve learned a lot from their baptism of fire this year. We hope Colwill is back soon so they can resume their promising partnership at the back.
