Tyrique George is bubbling up as the latest big talent to come out of Chelsea’s academy, and his latest wondergoal this week has got tongues wagging.
He ran from the halfway line and lashed one in against Crystal Palace in the FA Youth Cup on Thursday, then put a video of the special strike on his Instagram.
That video got plenty of comments, as you’d expect. But what we particularly liked was the interaction from other Chelsea players.
Carney Chukwuemeka called the goal “serious” but it was Noni Madueke who made the best contribution:
“They will soon know,” the winger said.
George is a brilliant talent, and clearly the first team have already noticed his abilities. It’s only a matter of time before he’s training with them on a regular basis, and they really get to know what kind of ability he has. Still just 18, George will soon be looking at a senior loan where the rest of the footballing world will finally get to see him in action.
