‘Completely untrue’ – Journalist shuts down latest wild Chelsea rumour

There often isn’t a day that goes by when we don’t see a whacky rumour around related to Chelsea Football Club.

Drama seems to follow them right now, and the media and sources are often looking to jump on anything at Chelsea right now whilst the club continue to struggle through a bit of a tough period on the pitch.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea academy players fear first-team pathway being closed up!

But yesterday there was a very wild claim regarding Mykhailo Mudryk. We all know that he was very close to joining Arsenal and wanted to join them, before Chelsea came in and hijacked the deal at the last minute.

A report yesterday claimed that Mudryk was in tears on the phone to Arsenal asking them to do something as he was on his way to the airport to fly to the UK to join Chelsea.

Well, this claim is ‘completely untrue’ according to Chelsea insider Simon Phillips, who has put a big report out on Mudryk, Raheem Sterling, and new wingers being looked at on his Substack site this afternoon.
