One of those players might be defender Alfie Gilchrist, who has actually made a real impression on The Blues fanbase in his last and only 2 appearances for the club so far.
But a loan move might be a wise option for all parties, and according to Chelsea insider Simon Phillips writing on his Substack site today, Millwall are one of the clubs keen on signing Gilchrist on loan this month, as well as Watford.
However, he states that Chelsea have yet to make a decision and Mauricio Pochettino might prefer to keep Gilchrist around as deep defensive and Reece James cover.
