In their preview of Chelsea against Fulham, Joe Cole and Peter Crouch zoomed in on one player in the Chelsea setup.
Cole Palmer was the real hit signing of the summer, and Joe Cole said it was vital that Chelsea take advantage of his talent as they look to build a team and a squad that is capable of winning the Premier League and Champions League.
“I would build this next generation around Cole Palmer,” Cole said when asked where he would start on fixing this squad and forming them into something impressive.

“He’s got so much quality.”
Palmer actually has a little bit of a Cole about him – an exceptionally gifted technical English player with a trick in their locker and a bit of flair and arrogance on the ball.
Cole had more of a cockney charm while Palmer is pure Manchester, but there are similarities. In the end Chelsea’s very functional teams at the time never really made Joe the creative centrepiece he could have been, but we have the chance to do just that with Palmer.
To me Palmer and Enzo with chukwuemeka will be good in forming in attack as playmaker . Chelsea needs powerful defensive midfielder and striker. In summer they need to evaluate fullback cover and center back . Santos and casadei should be in the team instead of loan them out . This two young players needs to be in Chelsea team and adopt the tactical system of the team . Today win is a blessing. Still the manager tactical awareness is not good enough . The time of subbing and twix of tactics is lacking . Chelsea FC needs to offload loads of players and bring in player’s which is needed . They need for cover for every position and injuries .
Academy players should be given minutes to play in first team to get experience . Chelsea FC need to buy striker this month the one they have not good to carry them up and NKunKu is prone to injury . They need to act now . I know it’s not easy to get them but it money talk . Osimhen in the summer but they need now . This squad needs experience player to add in the squad . They can ask for loan simeone from Napoli . His good striker . Or if they can get that girona striker will be good additions for the team better than Broja competition to Jackson and Osimhen if they get .
