Key pundit backs Chelsea against Manchester City

For all the problems that Chelsea supposedly have, Gary Neville thinks that Chelsea will actually do well against Manchester City this sunday at Stamford Bridge and come away with a draw.

That is some praise from a man who has constantly dug out the Chelsea ownership and squad. It seems that performances that Chelsea have shown when he has been on air this season have maybe changed his mind.

He told Sky Sports that Chelsea were “really good” against Arsenal and Liverpool, and it looks like he is backing Chelsea to come away with a point.

The Blues are not near challenging Manchester City yet, I don’t think anyone truly is, but this weekend is a chance to show the world again that this young side can still compete with the best team on planet earth.

Key players like Enzo Fernandez and Thiago Silva will be important in a game that is going to require digging in, whilst former City player Cole Palmer will surely have more motivation than ever to score.
