It looks like Chelsea are planning to recall one of their loan players in January, which will mark the end of a disastrous loan spell.
Chelsea will need to be much smarter with their loan moves going forward and they might even be wise to try and insert clauses to make sure the club agree to playing the player for a certain amount of minutes and if they don’t sign that agreement, send them elsewhere.
Because Andrey Santos loan to Nottingham Forest has been a total disaster and a complete waste of time, with Forest basically not using him at all.
But now, according to The Evening Standard, Chelsea are looking to recall him in January from his season-long loan, and then look to send him elsewhere on a better loan move.
To be frank, we literally do not have any other option than to do this after six months wasting his development. Santos is a very special player, we have to get this right.
