Chelsea have a plan for new summer signing Christopher Nkunku as Blues supporter excitement continues to grow.
Nkunku has yet to kick a ball competitively for Chelsea since his summer transfer from RB Leipzig.
The forward was injured during a pre-season game and has then been out ever since. He has recently returned to doing cardio training on the grass with Chelsea at Cobham and will soon be integrated back into full first team training.
Mauricio Pochettino and Chelsea fans will be buzzing to have the creative spark back in their team, but according to The Daily Mirror, despite also being buzzing and eager to get back out on the pitch for Chelsea, Nkunku will not be rushed.
They say Nkunku wants to prove his fitness in time for next Saturday’s game versus Newcastle. But the Blues could wait until December to get him playing again and will not rush his return.
