Chelsea locked on to next South American talent who is aiming to impress in November

Chelsea have spent the last 18 months hoovering up some of the best teenage wonderkids in South America, and they don’t look like stopping anytime soon.

With players like Angelo Gabriel, Andrey Santos, Kendry Paez and Deivid Washington already on the books, the Blues are turning their eyes to emerging 17 year old Palmeiras talent Luis Guilherme.

The 17 year old is a much sought after talent, and Fabrizio Romano claims West Ham are also pushing hard to secure a deal in January.

As always with talents at that age, we would need to buy him and loan him back until his 18th birthday. SportWitness say that we are expected to present a financial “proposal” to Palmeiras before the youngster plays in the U17 World Cup next month.

He’s already got 23 senior appearances despite his tender years, and it’s clear that he’s going to be heading somewhere in Europe, sooner rather than later.
