One Chelsea attacker fit again and three join first team training

Chelsea’s new tradition of giving an “injury report”, American style, before Mauricio Pochettino’s press conference this afternoon.

This week’s edition has some interesting updates from our crowded physio room.

Most importantly, we’ve got a player off the list. Mykhailo Mudryk is clearly considered fully fit, although we can’t see him playing more than a minor role tomorrow.

There are two players listed as having switched from rehab work to team training – Armando Broja and Benoit Badiashile. They are joined by Romeo Lavia, who was not injured but had missed so much preseason with Southampton that he’s had to have a week of individual training to get up to speed.

They should all be ready for selection following the international break coming up, but as Pochettino said earlier in the week, none will be available tomorrow.

As ever, we expect more detailed updates from the boss later on as he previews the Nottingham Forest game tomorrow.

  1. Good news for those players to resume training, but, please dont sell Conor Callagher and Trevoh Chalobah.

  2. Since we refuse to buy outstanding players who already has a name for themselves, and went to buy young boys who are yet to be call on their senior national duty. Pls leave those floppy players who u want to sell before. No need bcus half bread is better than none

  3. Good news for chelsea as those player Resume training, and please pochettino do not tell cole palmer that it does not means that spending a big money do not mean you will play alot of games, pochettino should apologize to he that i am sorry to say that quickly. And pochettino if you want to win forest then start with palmer as a striker the formation:4 2 3 1.

  4. Good news! Let’s hope for the best from them. Again, I agree with Ngelala, Gallagher and Chalobah should not be sold. Allow them to fight for a place. With the club captain James injured, Chalobah can help us in that position. Let’s go Chelsea!
